On October 31, 2024, VinEG Green Energy Solutions Company (VinFast Energy), Schneider Electric Vietnam (SEVN) & East Sea Environment Energy (ESEC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation in the field of energy management solutions & energy storage systems to serve the goal of sustainable development in Vietnam.
Currently, the trend of global energy transition is increasingly rapid, along with the requirements for efficient and sustainable development for the energy industry, so the signing event between these three parties is an important milestone to open up many opportunities for the sustainable development of the energy industry in Vietnam.
According to the signed agreement, VinFast Energy will provide advanced BESS energy storage systems, manufactured entirely in Vietnam. This not only affirms domestic production capacity but also contributes to the sustainable development of the energy industry in Vietnam. VinFast Energy is the breakthrough energy solutions division of VINFAST (under VINGROUP), specializing in research, development, production, and provision of high-quality battery services and solutions that meet international standards with outstanding safety and diverse applications.
SEVN is a global leader in energy management and industrial automation in Vietnam. With this agreement, SEVN will provide Microgrid Controller solutions and related electrical equipment. This will help optimize the operating process, bring a safe and stable energy system, and support the sustainable development of the energy industry.
On the ESEC side, we will provide in-depth consulting services, design and deploy microgrid control solutions, based on SEVN’s architectural platform and the BESS storage system provided by VinFast Energy. This combination will bring great efficiency to the management and operation of the energy system in a safe, stable and sustainable manner.
ESEC has been a strategic partner of SEVN for over 10 years in the field of energy management and we are also proud to be one of the first units in Vietnam to implement projects on microgrid control solutions and BESS storage systems. Therefore, with this cooperation, VinFast Energy, SEVN and ESEC bring the most core solutions, products and capabilities of each party to jointly develop the sustainable energy industry in Vietnam, contributing to the goal of reducing net zero emissions, promoting the global electrification transition in a responsible and sustainable manner.
