  • Applying multi-axis tension control functions to maintain stable tension in critical sections such as the furnace, zinc pot, coater, and tension reel.
  • Applying advanced control technologies of SINAMICS drives into the system, such as FlyRestart for windmilling applications, closed-loop vector motor control, and Technology Control for bridle control functions with “Speed with Torque Compensation” technology, enabling the bridle to maintain stable tension control.
  • Upgrading the T400 control functions in SIMOVERT to the DCC platform of SINAMICS, enabling stable and precise control of payoff and recoiling at high speeds for the Entry and Exit sections, preventing coil collapse and oval deformation.

The project was implemented within a very short shutdown period of approximately 5–7 days for each section of the galvanizing line and was deeply integrated into the existing control system. After the upgrade, the line operated stably, tension was precisely controlled, energy efficiency was significantly improved, and the plant became more proactive in maintenance and operation.
